Roma gourmet author is the journalist and gastronomy editor Maria Luisa Basile, who lives and works between native Torino and beloved Rome. In a far-off autumn she finds definitive confirmation of its gourmet vocation to the presence of a well brown pigeon stuffed with raisin and hazel-nut, coupled with 1968 Barolo. Since then her "digestive personality" grows up thanks to professional tasting in top Italian restaurants, studies of typical products and wines and journalistic cooperation with national Editors. Spiced with interests like art, theatre, cinema, ancient prints, music, photography and… shoes.
